Obituary for Alice Marion Fisicaro

Alice Marion Fisicaro, age 97, of Castle Rock Colorado, went to be with the Lord on August 19, 2022.

Alice was born in Glenham, South Dakota on September 21, 1924. She grew up on a farm in Iowa and moved to Omaha Nebraska where she met her late husband Tony. They were married on January 18, 1947 and raised their four children in Omaha. The family moved to Littleton, Colorado in 1968. In the spring of 1976 Tony was killed in an auto accident. Alice continued to live in Littleton until August of 2021 when she moved to Castle Rock to be closer to her daughter.

Alice was an active member of the Veterans Motor Car Club of America (VMCCA) for over 20 years and acquired four antique cars, which she won many awards for. Alice had a heart for service and was always involved and served where she was needed. Her dedication to her community won her the Channel 7 Everyday Hero Award in 2015. She also had a lifetime love of ballroom dancing and sports of any kind. She could often be found at any family gathering sneaking away to watch a game.

It’s impossible to condense 97 years of adventures, activities, service and family. Her proudest moments in life were centered around her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband Tony Fisicaro and her son Jim Fisicaro. She is survived by her sister Irene Segelke and brother Gary Pekelder and three of her children; Mike (Terry) Fisicaro, Barb (Jerry) Hall and Tony (Cindy) Fisicaro and her grandchildren; Cindy Weatherford and Brandon Fisicaro, Bob Fisicaro, Brian Fisicaro, Jason Hall, Stephanie Curtis, Sarah Ellis and Amber Arnold and great grandchildren; Madison and Chloe Fisicaro, Will, Danny and Joey Fisicaro, Caitlin Hall, Axel and Leah Curtis, Hannah, Hailey, Ava and Aubrey Ellis, Nicholas and Sophie Arnold and multiple nieces and nephews.
