Anna (Annie) Marie Fowler, 91, Northglenn, passed away on July 18, 2022. Annie was born May 21, 1931 in Sterling, CO to Alexander and Susan Bellendir. She was raised on her family farm in Iliff with her (13) brothers and (2) sisters. She had many fond memories of growing up on the farm and would tell us the stories. Annie attended Iliff schools where she graduated. She worked for the railroad and went to school for teaching. Anna (Annie) married Albert E. Fowler on September 18, 1951 and they had 9 children. Annie would later go on to raise her 9 children by herself. Annie moved back to Sterling and worked in the hospital cafeteria. Annie would help her sister Catherine with taking care of her parents and then later her mother for 5 years. Annie loved all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by Ernest (Butch) & Susie Fowler, Carol Anderson, James K. & Kathy Fowler, Thomas Fowler, Kyle Fowler, Alberta & Jack Beye, Tina & Ray Young, Mary Jo & Scott Jensen; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and sisters in law Mary Ann Bellendir and Janice Steib. She is preceded in death by her son Richard Fowler, daughter in law Tammy Fowler; parents Alexander and Susan Bellendir; brothers Anthony, John, Alex, Pete, Jake, Andrew, George, Adam, Steve, Joe, Phillip, Lawrence, Robert; sisters Mary and Catherine.
