Obituary for Chad Day

My beloved husband, Chad Day, passed away peacefully in our home on February 14th, 2022.

In January of 2019, Chad was diagnosed with ALS. He battled this ruthless disease like a true warrior. He may not have won the battle, but he did contribute to the hope of a cure, sacrificing of himself to participate in a clinical trial with The Mayo Clinic. It may not have saved him, but hopefully his noble efforts will help others diagnosed with ALS in the future.

Chad touched the lives of so many as a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, friend, mentor, and coworker. The impact of his passing is felt widespread.

A celebration of Chad’s life will be held on April 9th from 4:00pm-7:00pm in The Aspen Room at El Rancho in Evergreen CO. Please feel free to dress comfortably. After the eulogy, there will be an open mic. If anyone wishes to speak, please email Katie Day at kkidney@gmail.com.
