Obituary for Diane C. Kay
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Diane Kay, aged 78, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Diane was a loving wife to Marv, devoted mother to Chandra and Kendra, doting grandmother to Casey, Kayden and Kendal and great grandmother to Everett. She was the rock of her family and always put the needs of her loved ones before her own. Her warmth, generosity, and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met, and her absence will be deeply felt by all.
As a wife, Diane was a constant source of support and love to her husband. They were a true partnership, and her unwavering commitment to their marriage was an inspiration to all who knew them. They were lovingly married for 55 years. As a mother, she was an incredible role model to her daughters teaching them the importance of hard work, perseverance, and unconditional love. And as a grandmother, she was a source of joy and comfort, always there with a hug, a kind word, or a little treat.
Diane had a passion for life and enjoyed many hobbies and interests, including supporting her daughters and grandchildren at their many sporting events, taking road trips with Marv and of course watching football, especially the Mines Orediggers. She was an accomplished personal banker, and her dedication and talent earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and peers.
Although she is no longer with us, Diane's legacy will live on through her family and the many people she touched during her life. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love and gratitude.
