John Allen Gehrke of Lakewood, 56 years old, passed away on Monday, May 23rd, 2022. He is survived by his mother Jean Gehrke of Lakewood, children Eric Gehrke (27) and Sarah Gehrke (19) of Wheat Ridge, and brother and sister-in-law Michael and Lynn Gehrke of Feasterville, PA. John lived most of his life in Wheat Ridge and Lakewood. He graduated from Wheat Ridge High School and Metro State University with a degree in computer science. He worked many years at the Federal Center in Lakewood. He was a devoted son, father and Christian, and made sure to tell all those in his life how much he loved them.
