Obituary for Kevin Todd Siders

Kevin Todd Siders, 65, of Pine, Colorado, passed away on December 29, 2022, after a short and courageous battle with brain cancer. Kevin was born on December 9, 1957, to Clarence “Red” & Shari Siders in McCook, Nebraska but promptly escaped at the tender age of 1 month to Colorado, his lifelong home, forever a “Native”.

A second-generation Colorado Department of Transportation career employee, Kevin excelled in snowplowing, heavy equipment operation, extreme road preservation, and supervising highway maintenance crews across Colorado.

Kevin met Marlene in 2001, after a few career separations, they settled into their dream home in the mountains near Pine. There they pursed their passions in motorcycles, horses, real estate, and the “projects”. Always learning, Kevin became a self-taught expert in remodeling homes, quality and perfection were his hallmarks.

Kevin was a giving, caring, and selfless soul. Generous to a fault, his children, grandchildren, and those within his vast circle of family and friends all immeasurably benefited from his unwavering devotion and dependability.

Kevin is survived by his wife Marlene; his parents, Red and Shari; his brother Randy and wife Nancy; three daughters from a previous marriage, Jennifer and husband; Jack, Sarah, and Shannon; numerous grandchildren; and an extended family to include Marlene’s brother; Randy, sister; Teresa, son Vince, and daughter Kristy.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor, at a time and location to be announced in the near future.
