Obituary for Martin Streetman

Martin Neal Streetman passed away at the age of 76 after a short illness.

Neal was born at home in Marysvale, Utah on January 8th, 1947 to Martin and LaRae Streetman. He was the 2nd child, and first son, of six children. The family later moved to Salina, UT and then to Richfield, UT. He went to Ashman Elementary, and Richfield Junior and Senior High Schools. He was always a great student and loved to learn. He was active in scouting and loved to swim and play ball. He was awarded a scholarship to the University of Utah. Later he received an Accounting Certificate from Platte College.

Neal married Lorraine Peterson on August 16, 1969 and settled for a time in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had their first child, Martin, 11 months later, in July 1970. Monique was born 11 months after that in June of 1971, with Murry following in 1977 and Mishon in 1978. They moved to Littleton, Colorado in 1979.

Neal was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. Professionally, he primarily worked in the automotive service industry until retirement when he began his favorite job providing childcare for babies and toddlers.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He thought that serving in the Nursery was the best calling in church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kenneth, and sister Nancy.

Neal is survived by his wife, Lorraine, his children: Martin (Jennifer) Streetman, Monique (Michael) Rynearson, Murry (Aspen) Streetman, Mishon (Brian) Paul, and 10 grandchildren: Luke, Jace, Monique, Emron, Blaine, Reilly, Elias, Beau, Bentley and Bella, sister, Marta Rae, and brothers, Jim and Kyle.
