Obituary for Michael Allen Riehl
Michael Allen Riehl, 29, passed away on June 24, 2021, at his home in Coal Creek Canyon, Golden, Colorado.
Michael was born in Portland, Oregon, to Daryl Riehl and Christine Bates. He lived in Aurora, Oregon, Waco, Texas, and Golden, Colorado.
Michael is survived by his parents, Christine and Daryl, brothers Christopher and Michael C., sister Courtney, grandmothers Patricia and Sharon, niece Sydney, nephew Wyatt, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his dog Jax.
Michael attended and played football at Golden High School. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dad, hiking, nature and animals, electronics, rebuilding computers, cooking and baking, video games and online sports as well as fixing anything (big or small), and life. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial/celebration of Michael’s life will be held Sunday, July 25, at 2:30 p.m. at the Coal Creek Canyon Community Center, 31528 CO-Highway 72, in Coal Creek Canyon, Golden, CO 80403.
