Obituary for Stewart "Stew" David Bohm
On Thursday April 7th, 2022, Stewart “Stew” David Bohm, loving father of three children, grandfather to two grandchildren, and friend to all, passed away at the age of 63 in Arvada, CO.
Stewart was born on October 22nd ,1958, in Waterloo, Iowa to Luverne and Carol Bohm. He was the second eldest of four children, Steve, Stewart, Scott, and Sandy.
He graduated from Westminster high school in 1977. Went on to Colorado State University where he received his bachelor’s in Marketing with a minor in Economics and Business.
In 1985 he married the love of his life, Diana Lynn Cook, and excepted the role of “Dad” to Jarod. They went on to have two more children, Samantha, and Olivia.
On February 1st, 1988, he accepted a position with State Farm Insurance where he accomplished a successful 34-year career.
Stew had many hobbies over the years, whether fishing in his favorite spot at Lake Grandby, golfing with friends and family on weekends, watching his favorite Colorado sports teams and traveling the world. All of which he loved, but not as much as he loved people. His passion for people ran deep in his heart. Something only the lucky ones that crossed his path had the opportunity to feel. His giving, happy, and warm nature pulled you in to what he considered “family”. He lived his life to the fullest, never did he have a bad day, always a smile on his face, a handshake and hug for all.
Stew is survived by his three children, Jarod, Samantha, and Olivia, his two grandchildren, Cason, and Rylynn, and most of all his “family” who includes us all.
